The once mythical North East of India, where S.E.E.F. had set up a micro-farm in 2021 for training local youth in cooperative farming for good....Now hit by state violence and oppression, with hundreds families on the run.An unexpected change as well for S.E.E.F., faced with a project site which now offers shelter, work and income to two refugee families and 5 boys from different families. In challenging times, resilience and versatility are key.

👉 After India and the DRC, SEEF goes Burundi ... where we have set up a women's cooperation for the manufacturing and sale of organic terracotta pots. 🤜 100 women under 30 years old, all from batwa ethnic minority, have been selected as participants to the programme. 👍 After training by senior village women, they got involved in the fabrication, commercialization and management of the cooperation.🤞 Each participant is receiving from SEEF 50% extra revenue on each item sold. That revenue is saved in the cooperation for the future development of the village, starting with sustainable agriculture and education.
