A social value chain for the production of green energy.

What ?

Rather than cutting and burning wood for household use, vulnerable young people get involved in (i) the collection of organic waste; (ii) its transformation into green charcoal and (iii) distribution to households.
By contributing 2 USD a year, these households subscribe to a service of collection of their organic waste in exchange for green energy bricks.

Our role ?

Support social/ecological awareness and scale up from pilot to semi-automated processed phase.

SOCIAL
1. Contribute to the socio-professional reintegration of young unemployed people.
2. Community building between affiliated households : They contribute 2 USD a year for organic waste collection. In exchange they get green charcoal.

1. Valorize household waste and biomass
2. Creating awareness for recycling waste management.
3. Fight against insalubrity and substituting energy sources from fossil fuels.

3. FINANCIAL
1. Create green social economy for young people involved in collection, in green briquette making and distribution.
2. Income not only enables young people to take charge of their lives, but also enable the project to survive in the long term.
